UT Medical Center in Galveston Fights to Be Rebuilt

Since Hurricane Ike destroyed much of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, there has been much debate over whether it should be rebuilt.

Current and former employees of UTMB came to the Capitol steps in Austin to ask the state to focus on rebuilding the hurricane-damaged medical center, and keep it on Galveston Island.
