Texas Economists Uncertain Over Stimulus Bill
286,000 jobs. That's what the White House has estimated the proposed stimulus package could generate in Texas.
That could help offset the 110,000 jobs State Comptroller Susan Combs has predicated the state will lose by September 2009. But economists say it’s hard to predict how the stimulus package will impact Texas.
