Austin Artists Celebrate Nina Simone

Saturday, February 21, marks the 76th birthday of the late Nina Simone, one of the great artists of the 20th century. This weekend you can celebrate her life and her music as local artists pay tribute at the Historic Victory Grill. The shows run from Saturday, February 21 to Sunday, February 22, and feature Suzanna Choffel, Laura Scarborough, The Tiny Tin Hearts, Jitterbug Vipers, Sarah Temple, and Blues Mafia. You can also find a track from Suzanna Choffell on the Texas Music Mixtape Vol. 1.
