Grand Jury No Bills APD Officer

A Travis County Grand Jury decided not to indict an Austin Police officer in connection with a fatal shooting in November 2008.

Officer Will Ray, who was a rookie at the time, shot and killed 23 year old Adan Mondragon after a home invasion robbery in East Austin. Reports at the time indicated Ray returned fire after Mondragon shot at the officer with an automatic rifle.
