Expanding Unemployment Insurance

Texas Governor Rick Perry has made it clear that he's not interested in taking money from the federal stimulus bill that he says has, "Strings Attached."

One of those provisions includes money for the state’s unemployment insurance program. KUT reports initial talks have been held over whether to make the changes needed to get extra federal money.
