Economy Could Impact Prison Policies
The economic downturn has states across the U.S. looking at ways to reduce its prison population. Texas has the second largest prison population in the country.
With the state looking at a $9 Billion dollar budget shortfall, we decided to talk to policy analysts about possibilities for reducing spending on prisoners.
