City Inspects Troubled Budget Lodge Hotel
Austin police, fire and city building inspectors are looking around at the Budget Lodge Hotel near Rundberg.
Budget Lodge owner Larry Hall is upset to find his hotel surrounded by Austin Police and searched.
After Hall won an appeal to keep his operating license last month, he applied for a new 2009 operating license with the city.
The city chose today, February 19, to inspect the hotel but an administrative warrant was also issued in this building inspection. Apparently, Hall was not aware of nor given notice of.
