Child Homelessness on Rise

School is hard enough. But it can be a lot harder for children whose families have no home. The annual Texas Spring Homeless Education Conference is being held this week at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Austin.

Many at this year’s conference represent school districts across Texas facing a rising child homeless population.
