Portland, Oregon six-piece Blitzen Trapper officially began performing together in 2000 and have released 3 albums since. Their most recent Sub Pop release Furr delivers delightfully melodic songs with a heavy dose of thumping, Southern-rock inspired jams. They’ll be at SXSW this year headlining NPR Music’s free day party at the Parish Room on 6th Street. More info here.
