Bill Clinton Opens Global Program At UT

Bill Clinton’s Global Initiative program aims to activate college students in volunteering, community activism and global volunteering. The program hopes to inspire philanthropy and entrepreneurship in hopes of clothing the needy, providing medical tools to developing countries or fighting for women’s rights.

Clinton opened up the weekend of panels and work sessions with a speech. The following pieces of sound are Clinton’s opening speech, UT-Austin’s president William Powers’ speech and a panel that includes Dell’s president of Global Public program, Actress Natalie Portman and others.
