Ben Kweller: ‘Fight’
Pop/rock phenom (and recent Austin, Texas transplant) Ben Kweller has just released a new album. And those looking for more of the same from Kweller might be a little thrown off by this recent effort. It is, in Kweller’s words, a country album, consisting of down-home songs he’s written over the years.
But fans of Kweller’s vulnerable, almost child-like delivery won’t be disappointed. On Changing Horses, Kweller maintains the song craft that’s made him a household name.
This tune, called ‘Fight’, is an upbeat (perhaps tongue-in-cheek) song telling us to keep on keepin’ on. It was recorded here at KUT when Kweller dropped by last week.
