Tangled Up In School Boundaries

A new middle school is Southwest Austin has neighborhoods arguing over who gets to attend.

The new Southwest Middle School under construction at Slaugther Lane and 1826 is supposed to help relieve overcrowding at several of the elementary and middle schools in the area. But proposed boundaries for the new school have parents and neighborhoods at odds with each other.
