Susan Gibson: “Perfect World”

Susan Gibson is probably best known (or perhaps not known) as the scribe behind one of the Dixie Chicks‘ biggest hits, Wide Open Spaces. But Gibson records her own songs as well, full of heartfelt lyrics and folk hooks.

Gibson recently released a new album, New Dog, Old Tricks. This tune, ‘Perfect World,’ is one of the standout tracks.

This version of the song was recorded live in KUT’s Studio 1A.
