Novelist talks of Homeless Book

Writer Nami Mun has written a gritty and gripping novel "Miles from Nowhere":http://www.milesfromnowherethenovel.wordpress.com/ about a homeless person in New York City.

THe 2007 Pushcart Prize winner appeared at BookPeople Tuesday January 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Although, it’s hard to compare New York City to Austin, Mun spoke to me more about the central character in the book, a 13 year old girl.
