No Move Yet From Jury On Molotov Case

January 31, 2009 5:40 pm by: Emily Donahue

It’s the jury’s job to decide whether Austin man David Guy McKay was persuaded into making Molotov bombs at the RNC in Minnesota. McKay’s defense claims he was entrapped into the plan by FBI informant Brandon Darby.

To acquit McKay of charges, the jury must decide he had no intent of making the firebombs before meeting Darby and that McKay was persuaded to make them. Although Darby claims he didn’t persuade McKay to do it.

The jury will continue deliberations Monday morning, February 2.
