Native Plants and the Drought
Central Texas is going through one of its worst droughts in recent history. There is a serious push for water conservation, and one way to save water is by growing native plants.
Lack of water is a problem that many gardeners worry about. Drought conditions in Texas have worsened significantly in the past couple weeks, drying out most of the state except for parts of Eastern Texas, even killing cattle and plants. Trees have been hit the hardest.
