Lee Simmons: “Doniphan Nights”

Lauded for his deep understanding of melody as well as his insightful lyrics, Austin singer/songwriter Lee Simmons recently has expanded his outfit to include a full band, and the result is ear-catching.

Simmons remains at the forefront, his lyrics never taking a back seat, but the band adds a depth to the sound that was formerly absent.

Simmons recently dropped by KUT to perform some new tunes. This song, called ‘Doniphan Nights’ is the title track to Simmons’ latest release.
