How SCHIP Affects Texas

The U.S. Congress is getting closer to final passage of a bill that reauthorizes the State Children's Health Insurance Program.

The bill, which expected to pass and be signed into law by President Barack Obama, would expand who’s eligible for the program and send billions of dollars to states that expand their own CHIP programs. KUT reports on the affect that reauthorization could have for Texas.
