Gender Equity at UT, 30 Years After Rogers

The first and only women president of the University of Texas at Austin, Lorene Rogers, passed away Sunday at 94.

When she was appointed president in 1974, Rogers gained national attention as the first woman to lead a major public university in the United States. KUT looks at how far the university has come since then.
