Austin Writer, Poet, And Activist Dies

Among many of Sisnett’s accomplishments was working to bridge the digital divide in Austin. She was the Executive Director for Austin Free Net, a non-profit organization that helps provide public access to the internet. Kate Messer is a Senior Editor at the Austin Chronicle. Messer spoke to KUT’s Julie Moody about the passion and drive her dear friend possessed.
