Austin Sales Tax Returns…Down

Local sales tax allocations were announced and Austin's share is not so hot.

Texas cities received their local sales tax revenue checks from the state this week. Sales tax revenue statewide is up two percent compared to this time last year. But Austin’s numbers aren’t looking as profitable.
