Austin Film Studios Get Face Lift

Austin voters supported a 5 million dollar bond to upgrade the Austin Studios in 2006.

Austin Energy kicked in another 1 million, and now all the work has been done. There are now two sound-proof sound stages, one large green screen for digital productions, new a/c and heating, plus a state of the art security system. The community is invited to check out the new studios on Friday January 30, 2009.
