Arts Eclectic: Dancing at Lughnasa

Fifteen years ago, Brian Friel’s popular play Dancing at Lughnasa made its American regional theater debut in Austin, directed by Don Toner. Toner is now revisiting the play, which centers around five unmarried sisters in 1930s Northern Ireland. The sisters are played by Babs George, Margaret Hoard, Rebecca Robinson, Lara Toner, and Cyndi Williams.

Where: Austin Playhouse, Main Stage, 3601 S. Congress (Penn Field)
When: January 23 – March 1
Thursday – Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
