November 7, 2008: the Black Angels

Austin’s own The Black Angels have recently been working with legendary and local psychedelic music guru Roky Erickson while acquiring quite a large fan base with their most recent dark, psych-rock album Directions to See a Ghost. The Black Angels are playing this Sunday at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Waterloo Park before heading off on a European tour. Hear them first Friday night live from Studio 1A in the 10:00 p.m. hour on Left of the Dial with host Jeff McCord.
