November 10, 2008 2:28 pm by: Jay Trachtenberg

Since her 2003 debut Failer, Canadian singer/songwriter Kathleen Edwards has carved out quite a musical path, playing Austin City Limits and opening for Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, My Morning Jacket, John Prine and many others. She brings a penchant for subtle protest on her latest Asking for Flowers, featuring an A-list line-up with Greg Liesz, Benmont Tench and others. Edwards performs Monday night at Stubb’s, accompanied by X-man and Los Angeles rock legend John Doe.
