Song of the Day

Fun³ Fest ‘08 – Islands: “Creeper”

November 5, 2008 5:00 am by: Andrew Uhler

After one successful album, Montreal indie-rockers the Unicorns split up in late 2004. But, lucky for us, the creative minds behind the band were not done. In late 2005, members of the defunct Unicorns recorded an album under the name Islands. The album, Return to the Sea, featured guest appearances from members of the popular Canadian acts, Arcade Fire and Wolf Parade.

Now, Islands are back with another record. And today’s song of the day is a tune from the album. It’s a typically weird, poppy gem called “Creeper.”

Islands will put their songs on display this weekend at the Fun Fun Fun Festival on Sunday at 4:50pm.
