Fun³ Fest ‘08 – Annuals: “Sore”
Raleigh, North Carolina six-piece, Annuals, got their start in the music business pretty early. Just a couple of years ago, when Ace Fu Records released their debut album, Be He Me, the majority of the band’s members were only nineteen. Now signed to Columbia Records imprint, Canvasback, the band has just released their sophomore album, Such Fun, and will be performing those new tunes live at the Fun Fun Fun Festival this weekend.
Their sound is a brooding indie rock with distinct pop sensibilities. You’ll get a taste of Annuals‘ signature sound with this tune, called “Sore,” which appears on the band’s EP Wet Zoo.
Annuals will hit the Waterloo Park Main Stage on Sunday at 4:00pm.
