Alejandro Escovedo has been thrashing the guitar around town for the past twenty years playing in bands like Rank and File and True Believers. But Alejandro’s most recent solo efforts including his latest album, Real Animal, solidified his reputation as one of Austin’s finest tunesmiths and axe grinders. We’re going to take it back a bit to when Alejandro was touring for his previous album The Boxing Mirror. These songs are much less raucous than his newest numbers and highlight Escovedo’s knack for creating moody, visceral music. A fitting live set for this haunting time of year.
