Church of the Friendly Ghost Presents The Able Sea CD Release Show Tonight

Church of the Friendly Ghost has a fantastic ongoing music series that really brings to light a lot of Austin’s little-known or underground experimental talent. This week, the Church presents a CD release show for The Able Sea.

Vocalists and guitarists Robert Pierson and Alex Thompson have written a nine-song composition for this project, which features Kerim Pierce on bass, Derrick Fore on keys, and Robert Fisher on drums.

Their show is tonight at the Salvage Vanguard Theater, 2803 Manor Rd. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m. with opening performers Blase Faire and Abigail und Hansel.
