This weekend, the Travis County Expo Center will be overrun with robots, art cars, science and art demonstrations, and all kinds of assorted weirdness as Maker Faire returns to Austin. It’s basically a two-day celebration of the creative spirit, whether it manifests itself as a DIY tech project, a new invention, an art installation, a plate of homegrown food, or a fighting robot.
There will be hundreds of makers present, many of them making their first Maker Faire appearance, along with perennial favorites such as the life-size Mousetrap game and a live Diet Coke and Mentos performance from the folks at EepyBird.

Where: Travis County Expo Center
When: October 18 & 19
Saturday 10am – 10 pmSunday 10am – 6pm
