ACL ‘08 Artist – Rodney Crowell: “Sex and Gasoline”
Rodney Crowell gained a massive amount of critical and commercial acclaim throughout the 1980s. His 1988 album, Diamonds and Dirt, garnered ‘the Houston Kid’ five number one hits all its own.
Crowell is back with a new album. And he dropped by KUT’s Studios to record some of the new tunes live when he was in town last week for the ACL Music Festival.
Today’s Song of the Day is the title track from his new album. It’s a tune called “Sex and Gasoline” performed live right here at KUT.
