The Lovely Sparrows: “Department of Foreseeable Outcomes”
Shawn Jones, the lead singer and songwriter of the Austin indie-rock group, The Lovely Sparrows, started out as a jazz musician. But after about a year of formally studying the craft, he put down his saxophone and started writing songs. The latest from The ‘Sparrows is an album that just came out on Tuesday called Bury the Cynics. It’s a collection full of complex instrumentation that helps to develop full, emotional pop songs.
This is a tune from that brand new album. It’s called “Department of Foreseeable Outcomes,” written and performed by The Lovely Sparrows.
