Ocote Soul Sounds: “La Reja”
Adrian Quesada and Martin Perna, founding members of Grupo Fantasma and Antibalas, have joined forces, calling their new project Ocote Soul Sounds. The duo have a new album out, called The Alchemist Manifesto, and they dropped by KUT’s studio 1A to perform their trademark afro-beat, Latin and funk-infused tunes just a few weeks back.
This is a tune from that session. It’s called “La Reja.”
