Michael Franti and Spearhead: “Remote Control”
Michael Franti and Spearhead are one of the latest in a line of bands fusing hip hop with a variety of other styles including funk, reggae, jazz, folk, and rock. The band gained massive critical acclaim with their 2006 release, Yell Fire!; an album inspired by a trip Franti took to Israel and the Gaza Strip.
The band has a new album hitting record stores tomorrow, entitled All Rebel Rockers.
This is a tune from that new album, called “Remote Control.”
