Shinyribs Plays Tonight at Threadgill’s World Headquarters
Usually, you’d see Kevin Russell tearin’ up the place with his band The Gourds. He does, however, write more great music with a little side project he likes to call Shinyribs. It’s down home, down-to-earth grit and spitfire front porch music, rough around the edges and really pretty cool. Check out their show at 9 p.m. tonight at Threadgill’s World Headquarters, 301 W. Riverside Dr.
