Mario Matteoli: “My Best Friend”
Local singer songwriter Mario Matteoli made a name for himself as the leader of the alt-country, bluegrass band, The Weary Boys. Now performing out on his own, Matteoli’s songs carry a sunnier, more California-style vibe – which makes sense, as Metteoli grew up in the Golden State.
This is a tune that Matteoli and his band recorded right here at KUT a couple of weeks back. It’s called “My Best Friend.”
