Hot Club of Cowtown Brings The Swing To Threadgill’s Saturday

July 25, 2008 11:41 am by: Laurie Gallardo

Everybody needs a break now and then. It’s good to rest and re-energize. Western swing and hot jazz trio The Hot Club of Cowtown took two years off, and now they’re back and ready with new songs and a new album on the way this fall. Let’s face it; they’re swinging harder than ever before.

You may have heard them on NPR’s All Things Considered, A Prairie Home Companion, or the Grand Ole Opry. They’ve been all over the BBC, and keep pretty busy touring with great artists like Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and The Mavericks.

Catch The Hot Club of Cowtown this Saturday night when they perform at Threadgill’s World Headquarters, 301 W. Riverside Drive.
