Songwriter, string player and Austin native Carrie Rodriguez has come quite a long way since her early association with N.Y. songwriter Chip Taylor. 2006’s Seven Angels on a Bicycle shows Carrie delving into Southern-influenced country and blues styles with the mastery of guitarist Bill Frisell.
