Barbara K is more than just a singer-songwriter. She supports the artists and creative spirits around her.
The former Timbuk 3 songwriter and vocalist has contributed so much musically throughout her career, but there was also a desire on her part to give back to the community. She founded the Artists For Media Diversity project, which enlists the help of music artists and songwriters to establish a new source of support for public radio stations around the country.
Now she’s ready to share her latest album, Ghosts and Sparrows Relative Truth. Join her this evening, along with friend and musician Richard Bowan, for a CD release party tonight at The Cactus Cafe, 2247 Guadalupe, at 24th & Guadalupe. The show is your favorite price: Free.
