Add Some Live Music In Your July 4th Plans

Make no excuses! There’s definitely something for everybody tonight before and after the fireworks go off. Here are but a few recommended shows for a fabulous music-filled Friday the 4th.

Check it:

-Gary Clark, Jr. plays at Antone’s, 213 W. 5th St.

-The Church of the Friendly Ghost has a great line-up at Salvage Vanguard Theater , 2803 Manor Rd. The show includes Vialka, The Plutonium Farmers, and Book Of Shadows with Paul Baker.

-The South Austin Jug Band will be at Threadgill’s

-Art Disaster 6, an event presented by City On Fire at the Beauty Bar on E. 7th St. Live music by The Octopus Project, the Always Already, Golden Bear, Handsome Jack, Heist at Hand and more.

-Fourth of July party at Trophy’s , 2008 S. Congress, featuring performances by Muchos Backflips, Perfect Pants, Opposite Day, and more.

Killer shows everywhere. Have a great July 4th and enjoy the music!
