Tremoloco Shows Latino Side of Americana at Momo’s on Wednesday

June 10, 2008 6:00 am by: Laurie Gallardo

Tremoloco has been described as an East LA Tex Mex band, which is one way to describe what they do. But that’s not the complete picture. With Tremoloco, it’s more of a melting pot of rhythms they take from western swing, West Coast jazz, country, and rock ‘n’ roll, infused with traditional Mexican music. This is as Americana as it gets.

You can see Tremoloco at their show this Wednesday night at Momo’s on West 6th St., located directly above Katz’s Deli.
