Indie-rock duo Mates of State are husband and wife team Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel. Previous studio work with Spoon’s Jim Eno at the production helm catapulted the band to gaining respectable audiences drawn to their vocal harmonies, charming rhythms, and unique melodies.
