Dana Falconberry and Leatherbag at The Cactus Cafe Tonight
It’s a wide emotional range that Dana Falconberry covers in her vocals. She can tap into a quiet and delicate moment, then soar dramatically to powerful heights with it.
Her fellow songwriter and partner-in-crime at this week’s Cactus Cafe show is also a study of contrasts. Folk still flows in the creative vein of Leatherbag, but he’s incorporated rock and pop sensibilities that have taken his music to a new level.
They perform tonight at The Cactus Cafe, 2247 Guadalupe, at 24th and Guadalupe on the UT campus. The show begins at 8 p.m. This double bill comes highly recommended.
