Paul Thorn Performs at Threadgill’s This Sunday

Make no mistake: Paul Thorn just sings it like it is, songs about life – good, bad, and all the intriguing stuff inbetween. The Tupelo, Mississippi songwriter combines rock and soul with the gospel sounds he grew up with. He credits his gift for storytelling to being the son of a Pentecostal preacher.

Thorn will be in Austin for an early show this Sunday at Threadgill’s World Headquarters on West Riverside. Opening the show is roots music tour de force, Angela Strehli. Tickets are available through Front Gate Tickets.
