Dave Bedrich & The Swingsters Play Classic Jazz at The Carousel Lounge Wednesday Night

Swing and classic jazz are in order this Wednesday night at the Carousel Lounge with local five-piece Dave Bedrich and The Swingsters.

The Swingsters cover all the bases when it comes to traditional jazz, ranging from songs from the 20’s all the way through the 50’s. The guys first got together in 2002, and they’ve been playing clubs and special engagements ever since. Here’s a bit of trivia for you: The band was inspired by another Austin jazz band of the 1940’s, Cecil Hogan and The Swingsters. Hence the swingin’ Swingster name.

Remember that the show tomorrow at the Carousel Lounge is an early one; the guys will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The lounge is located at 1110 E. 52nd St.
