Denver, CO’s Devotchka sound more like an ensemble from overseas, with Eastern-European, Greek, Romani, Bolero and mariachi-flavored songs swirling in an eclectic pop blend. After self-releasing their recordings, Devotchka wrote the Grammy nominated soundtrack to Oscar winning film Little Miss Sunshine. New release A Mad and Faithful Telling is a mixed bag of glittering delights. Coming off their multiple performances from SXSW 2008, hear Devotchka live in Studio 1A.
