Texas songwriter Eric Taylor came from the same Houston folk scene that spawned Townes Van Zandt and Nanci Griffith. Taylor’s latest Hollywood Pocketknife picks up where 2005’s The Great Divide left off, with songs presenting flawed characters attempting to make it through their own difficult lives.
