Dan Dyer Live – February 11, 2008

February 11, 2008 3:00 pm by: Jay Trachtenberg

The soulful sheen in the voice of singer/songwriter Dan Dyer could cause the listener to mistake one of his songs for a timeless piece of 60’s Motown. But the stripped-down sound of Austin-based Dyer on his self-titled third release is updated, fresh and genuine. Dyer’s local band Breedlove recorded the popular “Reach Out” in the mid 90s, which became one of the most sought-after recordings of the era. After a musical relationship with Lenny Kravitz came to fruition, Dyer continues to gain momentum in popularity across the country. Listen to Dan Dyer and his band perform live on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
