3 Balls of Fire Live – February 19, 2008
Surf-twang guitar king ‘Burnin’ Mike Vernon of the Lone Star State has lead his 3 Balls of Fire for two decades. Since, he’s collaborated and performed with the late Link Wray, Wanda Jackson, George Tomsco and Jerry Cole among other legendary figures. This year, Vernon will be featured at South by Southwest, performing with Roy “Treat Her Right” Head. His latest recording Jet Set Guitars is proof that instrumental surf-rock is alive and well.
