The Band of Heathens Live – January 16, 2008

Local supergroup The Band of Heathens took top honors at the 2006-2007 Austin Music Awards as “Best New Band.” Members Ed Jurdi, Colin Brooks, Gordy Quist and Seth Whitney performed for years as solo artists and sidemen in various blues, rock and folk groups. Combining their talents, the band started playing shows together on Wednesday nights last year at Momo’s and built up a loyal following. In January, The Band of Heathens visited Studio 1A for a live performance on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
